...The Common Cold

What a day it has been! This rather cool picture is a really uncool little devil. This bad boy is apparently the common cold.  Quite honestly it isn't like I'm dying or anything all that bad.  It just makes me extremely uncomfortable, which won't be for long.  Thank the Lord for giving me great health and the ability to heal quickly.  All that being said, this day has been pretty neat.  A walk down memory lane if you will.

Austin is away for work and my mom was making a roast and other great things for dinner last night, which put me at my parents house overnight and through the day today. I miss my husband so much when he has to go away so it is really nice to go somewhere to take my mind off of it.

This morning I woke up to my mom saying "I'm making bisquits and chocolate gravy".  I could not contain my excitement (and the sneezing). This is an all time favorite breakfast that at this point in my life I only receive on Christmas morning! Wahoo!

The day went on and I watched The Hunger Games with my little brother while trying to customize my other blog for selling ebay items. When you're a perfectionist like me, making a blog can be grueling wanting it to look "just so". 

Then came lunch! Oh boy! Well you may not think so, but my mom announced that we had garlic bologna and fresh bread. I absolutely love bologna sandwiches! (whatever I don't care if you think that's weird) lol and would you believe that she brought it all to me on a tray with chips and an iced tea.  I felt like a kid again :).

Overall it has been a good day despite that little bug up top!

All this to say, Lord thank you for the family I have in my life. They are always a blessing to me, taking care of me when I'm sick, feeding me when I'm hungry, and so on.  I love them more than words can describe.  Now I can't wait for my hubs to get home!
